Position: Chef (Tandoori/Cook)

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum

Location: Working days / hours: 37.5 hours minimum within 5 to 6 days in a week
Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata), employer's pension contribution, Chef's uniform and meals on duty.
Prospects: Salary review; promotion, recognition and reward for outstanding performance and commitment


Duties include preparation of complex regional Indian curry dishes, training and supervising junior Chefs, purchasing & dealing with suppliers, stock control, quality checks, health & hygiene compliance and HACCP protocols, monitoring food safety & temperatures, maintaining cleanliness and good order within work areas, cost analysis and review, preparing reports and schedules and performing key duties as assigned.

To qualify for selection, you must have the following minimum requirements: -

  • High level creative skills and mastery in preparation of authentic India dishes and other specialties.
  • Proven previous experience at required skill level
  • In addition you should also be:-

  • Able to work well with others
  • Creative energetic and passionate about delivering culinary excellence
  • A hardworking, fastidious and conscientious individual
